AlDub's first solo movie 'Imagine You & Me' is indeed successful. It earned 21M on its opening day. That's real & unpadded. No more. No less. Besides, GMA Films & APT Films are not known for inflating ticket sales.  In less than five days, the film earned 120M in cinemas as confirmed by Gorgy Rula. In an Abante article by Ruel Mendoza, he confirmed that IYAM had grossed a whopping 400M pesos on its 3rd week. However, there was no confirmation whether it was only local or it already includes international screenings.

On the other hand, KathNiel's 'Barcelona: A Love Untold' has earned, according to Star Cinema, 320+ million. Local & international screenings are included in the computation.

There is no denying the fact that AlDub are certified box office stars as well. One netizen commented, "You can buy awards, but you can't argue with success. You can't fool people with the fact that IYAM is more successful."
